Allah mengajarkan kepada Adam segala nama benda, kemudian dibawalah benda-benda itu kepada malaikat seraua berfirman, ceritakanlah kepada Ku nama barang-barang ini jika kamu benar. Jawab mereka, Mahasuci Engkau ya Allah, tidaklah kami ketahui, melainkan apa-apa yang engkau ajarkan kepada kami, sesungguhnya Engkau Maha mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana (Al-Qur'an, Surat Al Baqoroh 31-32)
